NUNÉ MELIK
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nuné Melik is a musician who expands conventional musical boundaries through advocacy, music education, research, and poetry.
As a soloist, she has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the United Nations Headquarters while also collaborating with orchestras and chamber ensembles worldwide.
She initiated Hidden Treasure as a performance-research project and later co-founded the Hidden Treasure Music Festival and Academy in New York, which provides music education to students from undeserved communities.
Fluent in six languages, she continues her scholarly work and, in 2024, published the first comprehensive English-language study on Arno Babadjanian.
